The #QSE teams at Groupe Europe Handling have developed a 36-card game dedicated to human factors in our airport operations. Today, it is being presented at Groupe ADP’s #SafetyForum at the Maison de l’Environnement at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Each card features a real-life operational situation: fatigue, distraction, time pressure, poor communication, routine, loss of vigilance, inappropriate initiative… situations that anyone can encounter in the field.

The idea is simple: encourage reactions, spark discussion, and share best practices among colleagues.

Because an effective safety culture goes beyond rules displayed on a wall. It is also built through dialogue, collective awareness, and everyone’s ability to question their own reflexes and habits.

This fun, interactive tool provides a practical, accessible, and engaging way to address topics that can sometimes be complex.

Another way of reminding us that when it comes to safety, human factors remain at the heart of operational performance.

Airside immersion for ASSOCIATION JEREMY

Following an initial visit focused on passenger services, GEH – Groupe Europe Handling opened the doors to its ramp operations to a new group of participants from ASSOCIATION JEREMY.

Out on the ramp, participants were able to observe the different stages involved in handling an aircraft, from arrival to departure: aircraft marshalling, safety procedures, baggage unloading and loading, team coordination… all essential tasks that help ensure smooth and efficient operations.

A hands-on immersion offering a clearer understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities and requirements of the role.

GEH – Groupe Europe Handling welcomed participants from Association JEREMY to its PCA subsidiary for an immersive introduction to the role of a Passenger Service Agent.

The programme included hands-on discovery of the airport environment, discussions with our teams, and an overview of the key responsibilities that shape the daily work of a Passenger Service Agent — a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into a role at the heart of the passenger experience.

These immersion sessions help raise awareness of airport careers while creating tangible pathways to employment.

GEH – Groupe Europe Handling renewed its compliance with the CSCE framework

On March 26, 2026, GEH – Groupe Europe Handling renewed its compliance with the CSCE framework — Safety Competencies for Drivers and Users of Airport Ground Support Equipment. ✈️

This certification, led by the CSAE (Chambre Syndicale de l’Assistance en Escale) in partnership with the FNAM (Fédération Nationale de l’Aviation et de ses Métiers), demonstrates a high level of commitment to safety standards in ground operations.

In an environment as demanding as the apron of an international airport, safety is not an option — it is a culture. The CSCE framework ensures that airport ground equipment operators meet the required standards of training and competency.

For 30 years, GEH has been building this culture, one trained employee at a time. This certification is the industry’s official recognition of that long-standing commitment.

Thank you to the GEH teams, CSCE, CSAE and FNAM for their shared commitment to making our industry safer.
