Runway Connexion #3 – Orly
On 6 November, GEH – Groupe Europe Handling took part in Runway Connexion #3, organized by AIRH – Aéro Impact Ressources Humaines and AEROWORK, at the Groupe ADP Environment House at Paris–Orly Airport.
Orly Airport is more than just a transport hub: it is a learning and inclusive territory where future career pathways are built.
The event, hosted by Christophe Blondel, Vice-President of the AIRH Attractiveness Commission and Secretary General of GEH, brought together more than fifty committed stakeholders—companies, public partners, and institutional representatives—around the theme:
“A remarkable employment territory: how Orly is creating a new dynamic of inclusion and skills development.”
During the roundtable discussion “From candidate to employee: the Aerowork journey,” Laurène Vaillant, GEH Orly passenger services agent, spoke alongside Cédric Sere (GSF) and Sophie Pecchia (Apave) to share her inspiring career path.
A powerful testimony illustrating the concrete connection between local talent and companies in the aviation sector. ✈️
In the presence of Laurence Faure (Managing Director of Paris–Orly) and Benoît Helt (President of AIRH), the morning highlighted the collective impact of the AIRH and Aerowork networks: public–private cooperation, career pathway support, and the promotion of future-oriented professions.
This Runway Connexion once again demonstrated how airport employment can be a powerful driver of inclusion, provided that training, support, and local cooperation remain at the heart of the approach.
